WHY USE BAFFLE CEILINGS?
Baffle ceilings effectively control any unwanted acoustic issues including drifting noise and echo. They can help improve speech intelligibility, which can be particularly important in environments such as classrooms, and assist in meeting requirements such as BB93 in the UK and other international frameworks. Because of the way they are designed baffle ceilings allow a view of the raw roof and create a very open feel. They can be very effective when used to try and correct acoustic problems in a building that has historically been an issue.
OUR BAFFLE CEILINGS
SAS designs and produces acoustic metal ceiling baffles (SAS500 and SAS510) and other products to create a bespoke baffle ceiling range suitable for any commercial environment as well as public spaces, educational buildings, and more. Our acoustic ceiling baffles are available in timber and metal, including aluminium baffles, and offer a range of different solutions. Systems can be designed and fitted in several ways, each having slightly different effects on the acoustics, so we can find the right aesthetic and acoustic baffle system to work for your unique requirements.
BAFFLE OPTIONS
We are able to produce baffle ceiling products in a wide range of colours and finishes as well as different textures to give different levels of acoustic and visual effect. Wider and narrower arrangements can have a substantial effect on how the baffles perform and the effect they produce in the space.
We produce all our ceiling baffles to a very high standard using world-leading design and fabrication processes.
SAS500 – This linear acoustic baffle system can be installed and suspended continually or as individual modules. The double faced panels give enhanced acoustic performance. The baffles can be suspended at different heights and angles giving design flexibility.
SAS510 – This waveform acoustic baffle system can be suspended directly from the soffit. As with the SAS550 system they can be suspended as individual units or unbroken runs. The waveform design brings a high level of visual appeal.
Both systems are finished as standard in a polyester powder coat in pure white. Also available in any RAL colour as well as anti-microbial coating. Both systems are also available in any standard SAS perforation pattern.
